OUR PLANET-FIRST APPROACH
The impact of drone shows
We are here to offer a greener alternative to evening entertainment, which can release single-use chemicals and plastics into our seas, rivers and landscape. Our low-impact and low-noise drone light shows are powered by renewable energy, are fully reusable and do not disturb wildlife and domestic animals.

Air Pollution and Waste
There's no way around it. Fireworks displays create waste. Although plastic-free alternatives are now available, fireworks spread cardboard and plastic fall across the environment and are carried by the wind. This waste needs to be collected and is usually undertaken once visitors have left.

Chemicals and Carbon Dioxide
A typical fireworks display produces about 17 kg of CO2 from 35 kg of gunpowder, equivalent to driving 25 miles in a car [1]. Fireworks release fine particulate matter, Sulfur dioxide, Nitrogen oxide, and Carbon monoxide into the local environment, which can affect air quality and water quality. [2]

Animal Disturbance
We all know that many of our domesticated four-legged friends are scared of loud bangs, but have you ever considered how this can affect birds, mammals and insects in the surrounding area?
Fireworks can distress wildlife, causing them to flee their nests or relocate to a different area [3].
NOBODY'S PERFECT
Of course, we are not saying that we are perfect and there is always more that we can do.
We regularly travel long distances for work and our large fleet of drones uses lithium-ion batteries. These batteries are made up of graphite, aluminium and cobalt and the drones themselves are made from plastic and custom electronics. We also currently drive a diesel van.
But, we're working on it. Our drones are designed and built in the UK. Our batteries, along with our off-grid office, are powered using solar and wind power, generated from the Cornish sunshine and we aim to recycle our batteries at the end of their long life cycle.
